Next Level Learning Design

Less content dumping. More learning.

Whether the starting point is a handout, a course, a conference idea, or a half-formed concept, the work begins with the same question: what should people actually do with this?

01

Learning experience design

Turn a content container into something people can actually learn from.

I help reshape lessons, presentations, courses, handouts, training materials, and resources around meaningful learner action. That might mean a decision, a scenario, a practice loop, a conversation, a challenge, or a better sequence of all five.

Clearer learning flow
More useful participation
Less unnecessary content
A design people can realistically build and maintain
02

Professional learning

Give people ideas they can use before the session is over.

Workshops and webinars are designed to be active, practical, and grounded in the time people really have. Participants see the thinking, try the moves, and leave with a clearer way to improve their own work.

03

Speaking

Make the session worth leaving the hallway conversation for.

Conference sessions, keynotes, panels, and workshops combine strong ideas with clear stories, useful examples, and meaningful audience participation. The goal is not to perform expertise. It is to help the room think differently and act on it.

Interactive content and experience design

Use interactivity because it improves the experience, not because it looks impressive.

I concept and design branching activities, interactive presentations, scenarios, games, simulations, and other digital experiences. Every interaction needs a job. If a click does not create a useful thought, choice, consequence, or discovery, it probably does not belong.

Learning design consulting

Find the real problem before spending time on the wrong solution.

I work with teams to review learning experiences, clarify content strategy, improve professional learning programs, strengthen educational resources, and make learner engagement more intentional. Sometimes the best deliverable is a design. Sometimes it is a better decision.

How the work happens

Start with reality. Design from there.

Good ideas have to survive actual calendars, budgets, tools, attention spans, and organizational constraints.

  1. 01

    Understand the starting point

What exists, what is getting in the way, and what people truly need to do.

  2. 02

    Find the useful action

Identify the decision, practice, exploration, or application that creates learning.

  3. 03

    Design the experience

Build a clear sequence that makes participation feel purposeful and natural.

  4. 04

    Make it usable

Keep the solution practical enough to launch, support, and maintain.
